Hello, Neighbour! Welcome to the Village.

This October, we're launching an edition of My Village News, just for the beautiful neighbourhoods in Albion, Hamilton, Clayfield, Hendra, Kalinga and parts of Eagle Farm and Wooloowin.

We want to tell your stories and be your trusted voice and every month we'll hand-deliver it to every home, business and social space across the Breakfast Creek.

I’m absolutely delighted that Village News has gone from strength to strength at a time when we need good local reporting more than ever!

When other newspapers and magazines are closing, Village News is gaining in readership and interest. Our community is stronger because of it.

David Hinchliffe – Artist, Bowen Hills

“My Village News is part of the fabric of our New Farm-Teneriffe-Newstead community. It’s produced by locals for locals and its coverage of local news, events and personalities make it essential reading.”

Jim Soorley – ex Lord Mayor, New Farm

Having been involved in the restaurant industry for over 40 years and having owned and run my own business E’cco Bistro in Brisbane for 25 years, I’m a true believer in the importance of return customers.
My Village News gets to your local target audience, which is fundamental to any business that wants to succeed and also to expand and grow.

Phillip Johnson – Chef & Owner, Ecco Bistro Newstead

It’s time My Village News took on some of the other busy suburbs in Brisbane. The Publishers have done a wonderful job keeping My Village News as the go-to paper for contemporary events and gossip in New Farm. I love reading the profiles of some of the locals and always keen to keep up with local news! Well done to Michael and team for his strong Community focus and offering which is surprisingly extremely well read here in New Farm, especially in our digital age.

Dean Merlo – Founder Merlo Coffee Roasters

We love My Village News because it’s published by locals for locals and keeps us updated on happenings in our community.  It’s also popular with our customers for its coverage of local personalities and business and lifestyle issues while being very supportive of our neighbourhood.

Vince & Maria Anello – Owners, New Farm Deli

At Ray White New Farm, we know that My Village News connects us to the local community and is an essential advertising platform for our entire team. The consistency and reach of the publication is vital for successful property campaigns and agent advertising.

Matt Lancashire – Principal, Ray White New Farm

My Village News provides a voice for the community. The views and lifestyles of residents, workers, and visitors to beloved Brisbane suburbs are reflected in the monthly paper. Our coverage spreads from Fortitude Valley and into Spring Hill, Bowen Hills, Teneriffe, Newstead, and New Farm.

The village atmosphere of our area flourishes thanks to modern cultural influences mixing with the charm of Brisbane’s early history. Fashionable modern restaurants and retailers mix seamlessly with icons of the city’s past.

My Village News features local news and information, and is complimented by the work of entertaining and engaging columnists, as well as relevant and useful advertising features. Our property section highlights the area’s most sought-after listings.

Each month, 25000 copies are proudly hand-delivered to homes and businesses in our neighbourhood.

Readers turn to My Village News to stay up-to-date with what’s happening in their area.
